The Model 75 was introduced in the 1990's & was produced for a few years until it was replaced with the current Model 85. Comparing your serial number with the Sako records if possible could give you an estimated year of manufacture. They are such a recent model that the date they were made is of little consequence as most Sako collectors consider them shooters or user rifles & don't generally assign any extra collector value to them like they do the older L series actions.


The bolt has been carefully fitted by the factory to ensure the correct headspace. For safety reasons, do not interchange your bolt with a bolt from another rifle. To prevent mistakes, the three last digits of the rifle's serial number have been etched on the bolt (Fig. 2).Was this article helpful? 2b1af7f3a8
