Bots are likely to utilize the boost
Bots are likely to utilize the WOW TBC Gold boost, which makes it more difficult for bots. If bots were controlled, the boost isn't a problem. I have 5 friends coming back to classic because we all love tbc and they are only joining because they are able to increase their level beyond the vanilla levelling content.
Our characters are all in Classic already. They don't want idle while people go to TBC. The entire database will be copied before launch. If you choose TBC it will flip the "active" portion of cheap WOW TBC Classic Gold the TBC database to true, and flip the "active" part on the Classic database to false. Then, you can pay $35 to have the Classic bit reversed.
