In the closing cutscene of Far Cry New Dawn, Adam Gaun is shown carrying a Shrouded weapon off the island of Pandemonium. The weapon is presumably the same Shrouded weapon with which he was allowed to re-enter Eden, as it can be seen in his hand barely a few seconds later. Before that, he had been forced to throw it into the sea at the beginning of the meditation in order to remain in Eden and prevent the separation of his soul from his body.
Shrouds of Eden are mentioned in multiple places throughout the course of the game, two of which may be literal (since they were created by Isu) or metaphorical (since they represent all religions that sprung up in the wake of the Great Catastrophe).
The first was in the final scene of Black Flag, when Templars used a Shrouded weapon to compel the crew members of the Sea Sparrow as sacrifices. When they awoke, they were suspended from the ship by their ropes and forced to watch as the crew members were tortured and killed by their brethren. The Shrouded weapon in question could be either a Crossed Blade or a Crossed Blade disguised as a saber. Were the Shrouded weapon of the Crossed Blade to be considered a Piece of Eden, the scene was consistent with the Biblical account of Moses freeing the Israelites from Egyptian bondage. According to that account, Pharaoh, who had been warned of the Plague, by a heavenly vision, promised to release the Israelites, and set them free, but as soon as the ships of the Israelites appeared, he put them to death.[26] 7211a4ac4a
